Abstract

|
|
Chorioamnionitis and funisitis are frequent causes of fetal infection, increasing the risk of preterm labor and neonatal morbidity. We have encountered a case of subclinical chorioamnionitis and funisitis in a woman admitted because of labor pain with intact membranes at 41weeks of gestation and subsequent abnormal umbilical cord.
